A private enclave set against the Atlantic Ocean and its tidal salt marshes, Bulls Bay is the transformation of a once flat stretch of Lowcountry coastline into a landscape reminiscent of the great links courses of Scotland and Ireland. Roughly two million cubic yards of earth were moved to reshape the site. At Bulls Bay, 75-foot elevation changes and 360-degree views are unlike any in the Lowcountry. But more than providing dramatic views, Bulls Bay, with its firm, sandy turf and its ever-present wind off the ocean, is a true links golf experience reserved exclusively for its members and their guests.

Opening Reception

The Segra Club at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park
Tuesday, July 26
6:30 PM – 10:00 PM

MCOR22 attendees and registered guests will board the MCOR22 shuttle at the hotel for a quick ride through downtown Charleston to the famed Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. We’ll cheer on The RiverDogs, Charleston’s Minor League Baseball team, from the beautiful, private (and air-conditioned!) Segra Club high above the field. As our beloved RiverDogs (a Tampa Bay Rays affiliate) take on the Down East Wood Ducks of North Carolina (a Texas Rangers affiliate), we’ll be relaxing and socializing with food and drink in this exclusive lounge steeped in Lowcountry elegance. You’ll be able to watch the excitement from both the indoor area as well as the outdoor padded stadium seating overlooking the field. Marvel at mid-summer’s breathtaking sunset over the Ashley River wetlands through floor-to-ceiling glass encompassing the Club, which extend over the marsh to accentuate one of the best vistas in Minor League Baseball. We might even catch a glimpse of owners Mike Veeck and Bill Murray if we’re lucky!

Closing Reception

The Riviera Theater
Wednesday, July 27
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

MCOR22 concludes with an evening of stunning architecture and delicious southern cuisine at the Riviera Theater, one of Charleston’s finest and most unique venues and a registered historic landmark. When this Art Deco architectural gem opened in 1939, it served as Charleston’s entertainment focal point during the height of the motion picture industry. It closed in 1977, and after narrowly escaping demolition, was purchased and fully-restored to its original glory by the owners of our MCOR22 host hotel, The Charleston Place (located just across the street). You won’t want to miss this magnificent visual and culinary experience.
